Description
A small group of Sandhill Cranes is gathered in a field with some standing in a shallow puddle of water. One has its wings outstretched, and a faint red coloration can be seen on their heads. These Cranes pass through Indiana by the thousands every Spring and Fall on their migrations north and again south. I took the distant view with my Fuji Finepix S2980 digital camera in a vertical format with lens zooming mode, on Christmas Eve day, last year.
