Description
I visited the Michigan City ,Indiana lakeshore on Great Lake Michigan last Christmas Eve Day and got several good Winter images (without snow) of the area. This image was taken from the concrete walkway to the Pier. I lined up the Lighthouse and Marina Beacon in the open areas below the rare Pier catwalk. There are not many Lighthouse Piers that retain an original Catwalk as this one has. There is a drive going to save the Catwalk from deterioration at present . It still looks rigid and new to me. I took the lakeside image with my little Fuji Finepix S2980 digital camera in short telephoto ( lens zooming ) mode for the composition.
