Description
After hitch hiking from Michigan City ,Indiana to southern California , my first young wife and I got jobs at a Mall and found an apartment across the street from our work. We then moved to Long Beach with our new, free dog, Kahlua , where my twin brother came out from Indiana and joined us. (R.I.P. Kevin ). Somewhere along the way I got hold of a Petri rangefinder film camera and a roll of color slide film. Being from the Midwest , palm trees looked amazing to me. This pair of palms was on the next block from our apartment building. I took the original vertical image in color and transfixed it to this gray scaled copy in my Windows 10 Photo Gallery system. The original color image is also here on this site. NOTE: The FAA logo will not appear on your ordered image or object.

Debra , Thank you for the feature , in January , of this pair of Palm trees from my first roll of 35mm slide film ,back in 1975 , in the group " Intent Of The Artist ". I appreciate it.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Calvin, Thank you for this January feature of dual Palm trees from my very first roll of 35mm color film, back in the day. Much appreciated.
